Edition Peters, one of the world's most prestigious classical music publishers, is looking to recruit a Sales Operations Manager, based in its London office.

The role will involve:
Handling incoming business and enquiries from trade and private customers, and other interested parties.
Entering orders and resolving supply and availability issues.
Developing and maintaining a variety of databases including web.
Creating, interpreting and manipulating sales and stock reports.
Assembling target market data and participating in the ensuing campaigns.
Representing the company at certain conferences and events; possibility of field sales work with trade customers, depending on aptitude of successful candidate.
Offering general assistance to the Group Head of Sales.

You are:
A trained musician with an extensive knowledge of the classical repertoire.
Skilled and articulate in both verbal and written communication.
Able to assimilate new information (about products and systems) quickly.
Computer-literate, accomplished in Excel and familiar with pivot tables and other data-manipulation techniques.
Conversant with the commercial potential of social networking and current trends in information sharing.
