Warp Music Publishing, an independent music publishing company based in North London, is looking for a Copyright and Royalties Administrator.

The role: Looking after copyright registrations, income tracking and royalties for Warp Music Publishing.

Based in the Warp offices in Kentish Town in London, you will report to the General Manager and discuss priorities on a weekly basis.

You will have a passion for music and a strong interest in music publishing. You will be enthusiastic about providing a great service to our artists (which include Boards of Canada, Breton, !!!, Oneohtrix Point Never, Squarepusher, Gang Gang Dance, Hudson Mohawke, Battles, Gonjasufi, Rustie, The Hundred In The Hands).

You will be responsible for:

* Copyright:
- keeping the copyright database up to date (songs, composers, releases, agreements);
- registering songs and agreements with collection societies (via the CWR system, online and forms) and sub-publishers;
- checking the status of registrations, submit corrections if necessary;
- report on progress in registrations and queries.

* Income tracking:
- match income received to songs in the system, request adjustments when income is missing or wrongly received;
- analyze income to detect missing or incomplete registrations or releases and query it with societies and sub-publishers;
- track income related to the broadcast of songs in TV, film, advertising, live performances.

* Royalty accounting:
- provide royalty accounting to our artists in a timely and accurate way;
- investigate and respond to any queries that our artists may have.

Generally you will help improve the way we do things for our artists.

Numeracy and attention to detail are essential skills for this role. Prior relevant experience within a publisher or collection society would be desirable.
