The Music & Sound Awards 2012

The Music & Sound Awards 2012 will be held at Koko, Camden Town, one of London’s most vibrant and popular music venues on February 23rd 2012. The ceremony itself will be unlike any other, (more Rock ‘n’ Roll than the Ritz). It will feature entertainment from some of the country’s leading artists and DJs who are signed to the rosters of publisher and record label sponsors, a major name band will be performing during the closing ceremony and the whole evening will be hosted by a well-known personality from the music and entertainment industry. As well as showcasing the best of music and sound, the Music & Sound Awards presents a valuable opportunity for the media and music community to get together and discuss and celebrate the role of music and sound design in visual media.

Call for entries: 10^th October 2011

The awards are open to anyone who believes they have been part of a production that features an outstanding soundtrack. We are encouraging entries from advertising agencies, production companies, film makers, programme makers, designers and developers as much as from composers, sound designers and music supervisors. All entries must conform to one of the designated categories and have been broadcast, published or released with client approval in the UK between 1^st October 2010 and 8^th October 2011 and submitted no later than the 9^th December 2011.
