Nominations open for 7th annual British Composer Awards
BASCA (British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors) has announced a new category of Contemporary Jazz Composition for its 2009 British Composer Awards.
Nominations are now open in all categories and are invited for works that received their UK première between 1 April 2008 and 31 March 2009.
Works may be submitted from any source, with the exception that composers may not nominate their own music.
